Varanasi - The Eternal Soul of India

On the banks of the Ganges, where time stands still,
Varanasi hums with history, deep and real.
A city of light, of death and rebirth,
Where every stone whispers the soul of the earth.

The ghats are alive with the prayers of the past,
Where Hindus come seeking peace at last.
In the holy waters, sins are washed away,
As pilgrims bathe, in the dawn’s first ray.

The Kumbh Sangam, a gathering so vast,
Where millions unite, in a spiritual cast.
At the confluence of rivers, sacred and pure,
A moment of union, hearts endure.

The temples rise, like whispers of old,
Their stones and carvings, tales untold.
Kashi Vishwanath, the Lord of Light,
A beacon of faith, shining bright.

Varanasi’s streets pulse with ancient grace,
Where every corner holds a sacred place.
The air is thick with the scent of fire,
And the rhythm of life, never does tire.

Amidst the sacred chants and bells that ring,
Street food calls, with flavors to sing.
Pani puri, hot and crisp in the hand,
A taste of Varanasi, so simple, so grand.

Chaat stalls line the narrow lanes,
Spices and sweets, washing away pains.
The crispy kachoris, the sweet lassi’s grace,
In every bite, history’s embrace.

Varanasi, a city where life and death meet,
Where every prayer echoes, every heart’s beat.
The air is filled with the past and the now,
A place that holds the sacred vow.

As the sun sets over the sacred river’s flow,
The city glows, in a sacred glow.
Varanasi, where the soul comes to seek,
In its ancient embrace, both strong and meek.
